சென்னை :

15 நாள் பேராட்டத்துக்கு பிறகு பயிற்சி மருத்துவர்கள் நேற்று போராட்டத்தை வாபஸ் பெற்றனர்.

இதனையடுத்து சட்டசபையில் இன்று 110-வது விதியின் கீழ் சுகாதார துறை அமைச்சர் எம்.ஆர்.கே.பன்னீர் செல்வம் அறிக்கை வாசித்தார். அப்போது அவர் இதை தெரிவித்தார். பயிற்சி மருத்துவர்களுக்கும், முதுநிலை மருத்துவ மாணவர்களுக்கும் ஊக்கத்தொகை அதிகரித்து அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பயிற்சி மருத்துவர்களுக்கு ஊக்கத்தொகை 6000 ரூபாயில் இருந்து 7000 ரூபாயாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
முதலாம் ஆண்‌டு முதுநிலை மருத்து‌வ மாணவர்களுக்கு 15,000 ரூபாயாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இரண்டாம் ஆண்டு முதுநிலை மருத்து‌வ மாணவர்களுக்கு 16,000 ரூபாயாகவும்,
மூன்றாம் ஆண்டு முதுநிலை மருத்து‌வ மாணவர்களுக்கு 17,000 ரூபயாகவும் உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
சிறப்பு முதுகலை மருத்துவப் படிப்பு படிக்கும் முதலாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு 18,000 ரூபாகவும் , எம்.சி.எச். படிக்கும் மருத்துவர்களுக்கு ஏற்கனவே ரூ. 10 ஆயிரம் என்று இருந்தது. இனி ரூ. 18 ஆயிரம் என்றும்
இரண்டாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களுக்ககு 19,000 ரூபாகவும், எம்.சி.எச் 5-ம் ஆண்டு மருத்துவர்களுக்கு ரூ. 10 ஆயிரம் என்று இருந்தது. ரூ. 19 ஆயிரம் என்றும் உயர்த்தி வழங்கப்படும் என்று அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார்.
மூன்றாம் ஆண்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு 20,000 ரூபாகவும் அதிகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

சென்னை: முதல்வரின் மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைத்து மருத்துவ பயிற்சி மாணவர்கள் தங்களது போராட்டத்தை நிபந்தனையின்றி வாபஸ் பெற்றிருப்பதாக, சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சர் பன்னீர் செல்வம் தெரிவித்தார்.

மருத்துவ பயிற்சி மற்றும் முதுகலை பட்டப்படிப்பு மாணவர்கள் தங்களது போராட்டத்தை கைவிட்டு, சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சர் பன்னீர்செல்வத்தை நேற்று சந்தித்துப் பேசினர். அப்போது, சுகாதாரத் துறை செயலர் சுப்புராஜ், சென்னை மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி டீன் மோகனசுந்தரம் மற்றும் அதிகாரிகள் உடனிருந்தனர். மாணவர்கள் சில கோரிக்கைகளை அமைச்சரிடம் முன்வைத்தனர்.

இவற்றை பரிசீலிப்பதாகவும், முதல்வரை நேரில் சந்தித்துப் பேச நேரம் பெற்றுத் தருவதாகவும் அமைச்சர் பன்னீர்செல்வம் தெரிவித்தார். இதன்பின் நிருபர்களிடம் அமைச்சர் கூறியதாவது: மருத்துவ பயிற்சி மாணவர்கள், முதுகலை மருத்துவ மாணவர்கள் பல்வேறு கோரிக்கைகளை முன்வைத்து, தங்களுக்கான உதவித் தொகையை உயர்த்துவது தொடர்பாக போராட்டங்கள் நடத்தினர்.

போராட்டத்தைத் துவக்கியதுமே, இம்மாதம் 3ம் தேதி, உதவித் தொகையை உயர்த்தி முதல்வர் கருணாநிதி உத்தரவிட்டார். அதன் பின்பும், தொடர் போராட்டம் நடத்தினர். போராட்டத்தைக் கைவிடும்படி சட்டசபையில் முதல்வர் கருணாநிதி வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார். இதையடுத்து, தங்களது போராட்டத்தை கைவிடுவதாக, எழுத்துபூர்வமாக நேரில் வந்து மாணவர்கள் அளித்தனர். எவ்வித நிபந்தனையும் இன்றி போராட்டத்தைக் கைவிடுவதாக தெரிவித்தள்ளனர். உடனடியாக பணிக்கும் திரும்பியுள்ளனர்.

சில கோரிக்கைகளை அவர்கள் முன்வைத்துள்ளனர். முதல்வரை சந்திக்க வேண்டுமென்றும் தேதி கேட்டனர். அவர்களது கோரிக்கைகள் குறித்து முதல்வர் முடிவு செய்வார். இந்த அரசு மற்றும் முதல்வர் கருணாநிதி மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்து போராட்டத்தை கைவிட்டுள்ளனர். முதல்வர் நல்லது செய்வார் என்று நம்பி போராட்டத்தை கைவிட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கு நன்றி. இவ்வாறு அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார்.

இது குறித்து, பயிற்சி டாக்டர்கள் கூறியதாவது: எங்களது நியாயமான கோரிக்கைகளை ஏற்று பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு அழைக்காததால், போராட்டத்தைதை தீவிரப்படுத்தும் நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. அரசிடம் சில கோரிக்கைகளை வலியுறுத்தி, போராடுபவர்களும், அரசும் பேசி ஒரு சுமூகத் தீர்வை எட்டியப் பிறகு, போராட்டத்தைத் திரும்ப பெறுவது தான் நடைமுறை. இருப்பினும் எங்களின் நியாயமான கோரிக்கைகளை ஏற்று முதல்வர், பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு அழைப்பார் என நம்பி, நேற்று சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சரைச் சந்தித்தோம். எங்கள் நம்பிக்கையை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் வகையில்,முதல்வர் இன்று பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு அழைத்துள்ளார் என அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார். எனவே, முதல்வர் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்து எங்கள் போராட்டங்களை வாபஸ் பெற்றுள்ளோம். பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு அழைத்துள்ள முதல்வருக்கு எங்கள் நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறோம். இன்று நடக்கும் பேச்சுவார்த்தையில் சுமூகத் தீர்வு கிடைக்கும் என நம்புகிறோம். இவ்வாறு பயிற்சி டாக்டர்கள் சங்கத்தினர் தெரிவித்தனர்

திருநெல்வேலி : உண்ணாவிரதம் இருந்த மருத்துவ மாணவர்கள் நான்கு பேர் மயக்கமடைந்து ஆஸ்பத்திரியில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டனர். பயிற்சி மருத்துவ மாணவர்களுக்கான உதவித்தொகையை அதிகரிக்க வலியுறுத்தி நெல்லை மருத்துவக்கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் எட்டு பேர் கடந்த மூன்று நாட்களாக ஆஸ்பத்திரி வளாகத்தில் உண்ணாவிரதம் இருந்து வருகின்றனர். இவர்களில் நான்கு பேர் மயக்கமடைந்தனர். மயக்கமுற்ற சுந்தரவடிவேல், ஜோசப் செல்வசிங், ஜான் சாந்த வினோதன், நித்யானந்தம் ஆகியோர் சிகிச்சைக்காக ஆஸ்பத்திரியில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டனர். கார்த்திகேயன் தலைமையில் மற்ற நான்கு மாணவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து உண்ணாவிரதம் இருந்துவருகின்றனர். சித்த மருத்துவ பயிற்சி மாணவ டாக்டர்களுக்கும் உதவித்தொகையை உயர்த்த வலியுறுத்தி நெல்லை அரசு சித்த மருத்துவக்கல்லூரி மாணவர்கள் பாளையங்கோட்டையில் கல்லூரி முன்பாக ஆர்ப்பாட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டனர். அருள்முருகன் தலைமையில் 40 மாணவிகள் உள்பட 70 பேர் இதில் பங்கேற்றனர்.

CHENNAI: Talks remained inconclusive on Wednesday night with the striking medicos refusing to relent on their stand — to be told exactly how much the future increase in stipend would amount to.

After a meeting with Health Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam and other health officials, the stalemate continued, with the government sticking to its demand that the non-service medical and dental P.G. students, house surgeons and super specialists give up their strike before further negotiations were undertaken.

The medicos’ representatives said that a decision would have to be taken by their general body, and the issue remained unresolved. The strike was expected to continue on Thursday.

Karunanidhi’s assurance

Earlier, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi told the Assembly that the Health Minister would hold talks with the medicos on the stipend issue.

“If they are willing to come, he (Mr. Paneerselvam) will conduct negotiations,” Mr. Karunanidhi said, calling upon those who wanted the strike to continue to give up the thought.

He was concluding a debate on a special call attention notice on the week-long-agitation of non-service medical, dental post-graduate trainees, house surgeons and super specialty students.

Chiding the medicos for the manner in which they went ahead with their agitation, the Chief Minister wondered whether they had met him or the Health Minister before proceeding with their plan.

Referring to the comparison made by members of the House with regard to stipend paid to the medicos in the State with the situation in other States, he said the number of such persons in the State was higher.

The Chief Minister said that in other States, house surgeons were treated like doctors (in service) and paid salary.

D. Jayakumar (All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), S. Peter Alphonse (Congress), T. Velmurugan (Pattali Makkal Katchi), V. Sivapunniyam (Communist Party of India), P. Dilli Babu (CPI-M) and Sadhan Thirumalai Kumar (Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) called upon the government to resolve the issue at the earliest saying the functioning of government hospitals had been badly affected.

Today ( 8-6-09 ) the representatives from various colleges were called by the health minister and health secretary for talks…. But there was no soothing results after the talks and the talks are still in progress…

So we planned to continue our strike till our demands are fulfilled….

Resident doctors in Maharashtra go on strike

Over 4,500 resident doctors across medical colleges in Maharashtra went on an indefinite strike from 8 pm on Tuesday, demanding an increase in their monthly stipends. The move is likely to hit routine patient services in public hospitals, even as government officials maintained that they were prepared.

While meagre wages are what have largely instigated the strike, representatives of the Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) also raised concerns over the lack of security and poor living conditions.

“Resident doctors in all states are covered by the central residency scheme. While we aren’t asking to be covered by the scheme, at least our stipends should be revised. In Delhi for instance, doctors get Rs 45,000 per month for an eight-hour shift, while we work 24-hour shifts and draw only Rs 15,000 per month,” said Dr A Dhudbhate, MARD general secretary, stating that they were demanding a revision to Rs 35,000 per month. “We have been holding meetings for nearly six months, without any outcome. We won’t work until at least some of our demands are considered,” he added.

Director of BMC hospitals DR Sanjay Oak said he was aware about the strike. He added that they would put routine services (outpatient services) on hold.

Excellent work on ur part….Really amazed with the confidence levels and bravery in you….Here are some suggestions which u could consider….

1.Try to include medical students into the association so that we could fight for the basic needs effectively.

2.As u r entering the 6 th day…..don’t bend to government’s order.

3.Longer the strike keep ur demands high.t more attention

5.DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY since u have acheived half the well….it would be really difficult to have another initiative like this.

4.Try to collect ur whole medicos mass from all colleges into two cities so that it will attrac

we are learned doctors,the cream people of the society,supposed living gods….atleast should fight for our own rights.
