Hai docs,
Excellent work on ur part….Really amazed with the confidence levels and bravery in you….Here are some suggestions which u could consider….

1.Try to include medical students into the association so that we could fight for the basic needs effectively.

2.As u r entering the 6 th day…..don’t bend to government’s order.

3.Longer the strike keep ur demands high.

4.Try to collect ur whole medicos mass from all colleges into two cities so that it will attract more attention

5.DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY since u have acheived half the well….it would be really difficult to have another initiative like this.

we are learned doctors,the cream people of the society,supposed living gods….atleast should fight for our own rights.

Hi,
I am a CRRI from Kanyakumari Medical college, Asaripallam, Nagercoil. All CRRIs of our college are very actively participating in strike. We are all determined to continue the strike until all our demands are met despite threats from the government..
On Sunday (05/07/09), we held a cycle rally for a distance of 23 kms from our colleg to Kanyakumari.
Today (06/07/09), we held a BLACK DAY all dressed in black.
We have photos taken during these events. Please advice on how to update them.
I also support Dr.Senthil’s opinion that all CRRIS and PGs of all colleges can travel to either one or two cities and organize there to make our agitation more effective.
We are all United… Don’t loose the spirit….

right from starvation our strike is going wonderfully.one among the representatives personally asked few of us ,how far we can compromise?wat if they give suspension?
let them do it.whatever be it we r ready to face.many of us were shown us junior residents during MCi inspection.if they complain to mci taht will b the end of their story.this is the last and the best oppurtunity for us.i am 100% sure taht we will achieve it.if u leaders r ready to guide we will b there for u till the goal is attained.dont put ur steps back again.BE POSITIVE.NO DOUBT WE WILL GET IT

it is really wonderful about dr.sangeetha’s opinion…..there is no point in compromising after coming so long a distance….unimaginable 8 th day of our WAR.no fear of suspension…no one can suspend enmasse for 6 months….if at all i don’t mind to write the exam after 6 months at which time i might do better.in a doctor’s life 6 months is not a matter at all…hope u guys know….IF WE BEND NOW THEY WILL USE THE SAME TECHNIQUE IN THE FUTURE….don’t allow it.we wll fight till the end… HOPE we could atleast leave something for the FUTURE DOCTOR’S
FIGHT GUYS FIGHT ….WE ARE BORN TO SUCCEED……IF WE CAN’T NO ONE CAN!!!

AS DAY’S PASSING OUR GOVERNMENT IS WAITING FOR U TO DO FEW THING’S…….. STUPID THING’S………..

1.THAT WE WILL DISSOLVE IN FOLLWING DAY’S TO COME….
BUT THEY HELP BY KINDLING US SO THAT WE WILL MAINTAIN THE TEMPO AS NOW AND WORK UP ON THIS ISSUE FURTHER.

2.WE WILL ENTER INTO ANY VIOLENCE…. WHICH WILL BE EASY FOR THEM TO TACKLE (ONLY THING WHICH THEY KNOW)….BECAUSE THEY ARE WELL VERSED IN IT.

SO NEVER THINK OF VIOLENCE.

CAN’T WE SHAKE THEM ????? YES WE CAN……IT’S NOT IMPOSSIBLE….
COLLECT THE INFORMATION OF MCI RULES REGARDING

1.NO. OF TEACHING STAFF FACILITY
2.INTERVENTION’S / PROCEDURE TO BE DONE IN A HOSPITAL.
3.HOSTEL FACILITIES….. AND OTHER THINGS CONFINING TO US…..

AND EXISTIING FACILITIES IN OUR MEDICAL COLLEGES……….. COLLECT ALL THESE FACT’S.DEFINETLY IT WILL NOT MEET MCI NORMS.

SO NOW U CAN EVEN EXPAND UR DEMANDS BEYOND THIS STIPEND ISSUE AND MAKE THE ISSUE BIGGER….. AND U CAN EVEN SUE THE GOVERNMENT FOR NOT PROVIDING STANDARD EDUCATION FOR US WHICH IS RIGHT OF EVERY CITIZEN AND OFCOURSE THE DUTY OF THE GOVERNMENT…

SEEMS DIFFICULT OFCOURSE…HOPE NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO US…WE MUST DO THIS……. IT WILL BE A TRUMP CARD MY DEAR DETERMINED DOCS….

We always stood united and will be in future.. Nobody can divide us.. We ll win in our war and the only reason for our victory ll be our unity. Hai medicos……… u have done excellent work. Very good to see the sprit of medicos. Don’t let down the hope. Here after I don’t think u should go for any negotiation………… nothing less than what u have demanded……….. because government have indirectly helped u by prolonged the strke without calling for any negotiation……….. so never bend at any cost …… Make the government on its knee…….. if we the cream most community don’t get the justice then who will………
Relay fasting is a good idea. I think there’s no need to split ur strength in to equal half for relay fasting. It’s better to have 80% in the day to have more effect and 20% in the night. This may decrease ur female mass due to various stigma…….. so kindly review ur ideas…. Relay strike can be extended more than two days.

WHAT U R ARE DOIN IS GANDHISM…BEING INDIAN WE CAN NOT : WILL NOT AND SHOULD NOT LOSE…JAI HIND.

hi frnz..i’m dng pg in MMC.it’s really gr8 to see the spirit of medicos..hats off to our organisers who r leading us wonderfully in the path of victory..i feel v should really do sumthng to reach the public..bcos they hav so much blind faith in sum politicians & feel tht “ayyave kudukararu,neenga amaithia vangitu pogavendithane”.and mainly these staffs & other hospital workers..most of them hav the guts to argue & advice us tht “u r just students.y do u need money?u don’t deserve it”.this is mainly due to the fact tht many of our suprs don’t support us even unofficially..please thnk of sumthng to gain atleast a bit of public support..it will help us in the long run..in the beginning of our strike.even i had the thot tht sum nominal hike is enough..bt nw,aftr all our sufferings & the way the govt is behaving & trying to suppress us,i feel strongly tht v shouldn’t com down even a bit frm our demand which is very reasonable..pls make all u’r colleagues to attend the strike..aftr all i don’t thnk they r parasites,who want to get stipend hike vthout striving fr it..let us not lose our spirit..v r going to win & achieve our target..no doubts abt it..PROUD TO BE MEDICOS!

I am surprised that YOU, The Medical Experts and Life Savers are not regarded in Tamil Nadu. The strike is on 13th Day today. Just now I saw the news in TV that today the Government will talk with you and that you are hunger strike.

The most respected profession in other countries is neglected in our state and the News and Media is laso ignorant and do not report.

Hi Jason, check out this article published in The Hindu. Here the stipend quoted in the other states is far less than the actual stipend. So please look into it.

Brothers.
United we stand . Its great pleasure to see such a strong strike going on. Keep it up. And never fear these so called leaders of our society, the leading stink in our country.
If so uneducated , uncultured and antisocial elements like our politicians think they can do anything they like, then how much more can we as educated creamy layer of the society do!
If India is progressing , its not because of these opportunistic leeches like our politicians, But definitely due to the thousands and millions of educated strata of our society. And we as doctors who form the top most layer of this strata, have a strong go and influence on the matters of the state. But first let us improve our own state, before we move ahead into the general society to serve the most needy of our country.
